The Historic Table will come anywhere in the South Carolina Low Country, including Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester, Colleton, Beaufort, and Georgetown counties. We’d be happy to travel further as well, but a travel fee may apply.

Although a kitchen is ideal, it is not required. As long as Mike has a room to stage items, he can bring everything he needs to cook.
The minimum number for a historic dinner is 6 people. It is more of a dinner party than a romantic setting. You are more than welcome, however, to pay for the minimum and have less guests.
32 is the maximum amount for a sit down historic feast with authentic dinnerware. Any more than 32 will be a buffet and modern dinnerware will need to be rented.
No. This is your party, and the content is family friendly. All ages are welcome, but under 21 may not partake in the 3 flight wine tasting.
In order to secure the booking, a deposit of 33% of the entire order is required. 30 days prior to the event, that deposit becomes non-refundable to cover costs and loss of business in case of cancellation.
The event must be paid in full 7 days prior to the event.
Mike tries to keep the dishes as authentic as possible, but since this is your party, he’s more than happy to make substitutions for certain allergies and restrictions. The two that are very difficult to accommodate, however, are dairy and vegan/vegetarian.
The experience is about 2 and a half hours.
The historic presentation can be a couple of minutes, or over an hour. It’s your party. Whatever you would like, Mike will cater it to you. For weddings and other similar events, there can be no presentation as well.
Yes you can. The Victorian Cocktail Party is specifically geared for this scenario, plus any of the other themes can be converted into a buffet, even for less than 32 people.
The Historic Table will provide water and a 3 flight wine tasting. All other drinks must be provided from another source. The Victorian Cocktail Party is one theme that could use more of a bar service.
